H Connnection Issues

There is an issue with the HTC 710 where it is unable to connect to routers. This may be rectified by changing the Power Mode setting in the WLAN menu from "auto" to "best performance" this option is not available on the BT HTC 710 but a forum reader appears to have found the answer. Try it at your own risk

To get the power settings option back on the s710 you need to create a new registry key  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\WiFiSettings\5 and inside that create a
string value named "Default" containing the data {2889009E-FF67-456a-8786-464D23CF6694}
