Email set up 

Homescreen, scroll to left click on screen and then select Other (pop3/IMAP) follow instruction.

Email settings – once in email account click menu button and this will bring up other options, select settings.

SMS

Service centre number – Homescreen, messages, menu, settings

WIFI

Homescreen, menu, settings, wifi controls, wifi settings, Turn wifi on and select AP

GPRS

Homescreen, menu, settings, mobile network settings, you can set for roaming and manual roam also within this area.

Manual GPRS settings
Home>Menu>Settings>Wireless controls>mobile network settings>access point names;

Firstly delete the Vodafone APN(s), then;

Menu>New APN

Name>bt internet
APN> btmobile.bt.com
Proxy> not set
Port> not set
Username>bt
Password> bt
Server> not set
MMSC> not set
All remaining ones are "Not Set"
Don't forget to "Save" with Menu>Save

If you wish to use MMS you need to set up another separate APN

This time;

Name>bt mms
APN> btmobile.bt.com
Proxy> not set
Port> not set
Username>bt
Password> bt
Server> not set
MMSC> http://mms.bt.com/servlets/mms
MMS proxy> 212.183.137.12
MMS port> 8799
MMS protocol> WAP2.0 (should be preset)
MCC> 234 (should be preset)
MNC> 15 (should be preset)
APN Type> mms

As above don't forget to save.


Handset Reset

Homescreen, menu, settings, security, Factory data reset

Device Information

Homescreen, menu, settings, about phone, IMEI, WI-Fi MAC address ect can be found under STATUS

Switching from 3G to 2G

Homescreen, menu settings, wireless controls, mobile network settings, use only 2G network.
