When your number port is completed, check to see if it runs through the startup wizard.
There is a chance that the details required to run through the wizard will not have been transferred across to your ported number.
If the wizard fails on step 1/4 after the number port is complete, call BT, they'll need to add the required details to your ported number. Its a painless task, but it might just take a day or 2.
